about shatteredtruth

i try to give people the benefit of the doubt -- i really do. and i understand that, for the most part, people try their best in their day-to-day lives. not necessarily when it comes to school or performance at work -- i'm talking about how a person acts while carrying out their daily tasks, the way they participate in the society in which we live, and more importantly, their perception on how their role in society is to be played. and it's these "truths" they live by that i want so desperately to change.

when i get pissed, i try my hardest to approach the situation from their standpoint -- to see it from their perspective. i gotta tell ya, most of the time, they're still a dumbass.

and i know that a lot of the things that piss me off are trivial and i shouldn't get mad about them -- i know -- but needless to say, they piss me off.

one example is a nearby off-ramp. the interstate runs eastbound, with an exit off the right, where yes, normally there would be a stop sign before turning left onto the north-bound road. however, there is no stop sign; traffic does not stop, it flows directly into the intersection and to the left -- traffic looking to turn right onto the eastbound intersection must stop (indicated by their own completely visible stop sign). i use this off-ramp atleast once, daily.

i would say that 75% of the time, someone stops at the end of that off-ramp. i'm on this off-ramp for a matter of seconds every day -- a matter of seconds -- and someone stops 75% percent of the time. just imagine how many times someone stops there an hour, or a day -- that is what really pisses me off.

the world, for the most part, was put together by people who wanted to make your life easier -- and the stupid people out there don't get it. hopefully this website will serve as a learning tool for the many idiots in the world. open your eyes, there's a lot out there you can figure out if you just give it a try. and if you miss it -- that's what i am here for (:
